About Ed
I have been involved with student activities for over twenty years as an Activities Director, Leadership teacher, class advisor, and Key Club Advisor. I have been a senior counselor at the Oregon Association of Student Councils Leadership Camp (13 years) and National Leadership Conference, involved with the Boy Scouts, active in my church, and am involved with several community organizations. I love my wife of over thirty years (who happens to be my high school sweetheart), my five children, and my three adorable grandchildren.

Thanks To:
Nancy Moen, Director of OASC, for allowing me to use material from OASC camp manuals.
Gary Oberste, Oklahoma, for allowing me to use the material that he has presented at various workshops.
Marcy Gano, for being a great inspiration and mentor.
I also need to thank my students for their editing, typing, and correcting:  Anesha, Lacey, Mary Ann, Kaitlyn, Bree, Kristina, Heather, Sarah, Christina, Terisa, Felisha, Kim, Savanna, Amy, and Kimbree.  Thank you for all of your hard work.

And, to all the fantastic students I have come to know and love over the years, it has truly been a privilege. The students from Whiteaker Middle School and McNary High, and campers from the OASC Leadership Camp have given me many opportunities to grow and have been a fantastic source of inspiration.   My deepest admiration and heartfelt thoughts are for the Warriors of Lebanon High School, you are the source of inspiration for me as I pursue this dream.  I would like to thank all the students I have every had for the memories and opportunity I have had to be your teacher and your friend.  Dream, inspire others, care for others, and become the person you were destined to become.

And always hear the ringing of the bell.
